What a life he had His stories will never leave you sad To hear his stories again is like something new Oh, storyteller, there is no one like you He leaves you holding to the edge of your chair Listen to the storyteller, you feel you are there The more stories you hear the more you want to know A part of his stories his life does show The storyteller paints a picture with words just so Listen close because the end you will want to know The storyteller will make you laugh even cry Things happen, you will want to know why When the tale is over you ask for more, just one Your day is not the same as before his story begun The more stories he tells the more you want to hear He is more than just a storyteller; he is someone dear He describes life with great detail To give a great story he will never fail He paints his life story with words so clear He talks about his family who he loves so dear You will find yourself tasting his mamas’ dinner flaws Some things happen just because Moment by moment his story grows He is a great storyteller, oh how it shows He tells stories of times when he was a child The suspense in his stories are anything but mild He can talk with a stranger, even longer with a friend His stories will make you wish they would never end He is the best storyteller, but he listens even more If you ask him to pray, he will pray and pray some more When you ask for much prayer, he will share it again and again To know this storyteller is to have a caring friend Beyond all the great story he tells, he shares the gospel story First things first, he gives God all the glory And for the rest of the story watch his face He has known sorrow, he has known grace The Father wanted laughter and even more the Spirit to fill Time with the storyteller and you know his presence so real The storytellers’ tales bring joy to you and me A little time with the storyteller and you are set free Hearing his story for the first time is like no other He will bring you laughter like no other When you need him. He is close He loves his friends and family, but he loves Jesus the most To listen to the storyteller is like a life changing song To listen to the storyteller, you cannot go wrong To know this storyteller is a gift divine There is no other like him or will there be for all of time The best is yet to be This has been said thru out history There will be more stories on that beautiful shore The storyteller will tell of the Fathers’ love forever more One day in the sweet by and by he will be telling stories to the Lord Most High Thank you, Father for the storyteller so bold His stories are the best ever told May the needs of this storyteller be met by Your grace Sweet Holy Spirit put a smile on his face.
